Sacred Heart Catholic College, Ijebu-Ode, recently ushered in the 2024/2025 academic year with a grand orientation event for its newly admitted students. Held on September 12th and 13th, 2024, this two-day orientation marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our incoming students.

The Beginning of a New Era

The orientation program was designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to Sacred Heart Catholic College’s rich culture and values, ensuring that each student feels welcomed and well-prepared for the journey ahead. The event was a blend of informative sessions, interactive activities, and community-building exercises aimed at helping students acclimate to their new environment.

Day One: Welcoming and Integration

The first day of the orientation kicked off with a warm welcome from the college’s leadership and staff. Students were introduced to the college’s history, mission, and core values, setting the stage for their future experiences. The day included guided tours of the campus, allowing students to familiarize themselves with key facilities, including classrooms, libraries, and recreational areas.

The second day they were focused on practical aspects of college life and academic preparation. Additionally, students participated in interactive discussions on the college’s ethos, ethics, and the importance of maintaining a balanced and respectful community.
